Brownie and Mousse Trifle

Morning Friends!

So over the weekend we celebrated my grandmothers birthday and I prepared this desert extravaganza. My grandmother loves baking and eating almost as much as I do ;) So creating something special for her each birthday is a pleasure! This year I opted to get a little creative and re-define the boundaries of birthday 'cake'. Thus the brownie, mousse trifle came about! This desert is decadent, delicious and will leave you with plenty of left overs #win

You Will Need
1 packet mix of brownie and required ingredients
2 blocks of cooking chocolate (milk)
1 can sweetened condense milk
1 packet instant chocolate pudding mixture
1/2 cup water
2 x 250ml cartons of fresh cream

Method

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.

In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 250ml whipped cream until no streaks remain.

In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture and 125 ml (half 2nd carton) whipped cream. Repeat layers.

Shave chocolate onto top layer for garnish. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.

The perfect birthday treat or desert for any special occasion!
